The Art Card Story

The original artwork for the Free place Art Card was created by painting the letters onto heavy cotton Arches paper with watercolor and a pointed brush. The border was created with thick, torn, painted watercolor paper. It is available in the Care Collection here at Flower Girl Greetings.

He brought me forth into a spacious place of freedom. He rescued me because He delighted in me! Psalm 18:19  This verse is past and present. God rescued me, and He continues to delight in me and I in Him!

There is nothing narrow about following Jesus Christ. The word narrow is used in only two passages in the New Testament (in Matthew 7:13-14 and Luke 13:24) when Jesus said that narrow is the way that leads to life. The way to the wide open space is narrow, because there is only one gate, one door. Jesus said, I am the Door. Whoever enters in by Me shall be saved and shall go in and out and find pasture.  John 10:9

Once in the pasture, the feeding is rich, full and life-giving. The Psalmist David wrote, The Lord is my Shepherd, I have everything I need. He makes me lie down in green pastures, He leads me beside the still waters; He restores my soul.  Psalm 23:1-3

God invites us to enter into rest and freedom!
