Shout joyfully was created similarly and at the same time as the Spring rains Art Card – in the early 1980s, by hand with an ellipse template, a ruler, and a black ruling pen. I referenced an old calligraphy book with examples of Stunt Roman letters. After I added the drawn/painted fall leaves, I pasted it to a board covered with fabric and outlined with ribbon. Later, I superimposed the calligraphy onto a purple and gold metallic-ink background. Blessings, Beth Ann
