His Table
An Unsurpassed Invitation

Yeshua (Jesus), the Only Begotten of the Father, our Bridegroom, has come and secured our intimate union with Himself by His blood. By His suffering and death, He has covered our debt of sin and waywardness that kept us from Him. We stand in His presence forgiven and beloved!
Our Father raised Him from the dead, and He brings us into His resurrection life! We who believe in Him will never perish but will have everlasting life!
Yeshua is our Passover Lamb Who has delivered us from destruction and invited us to share daily, life-giving conversation with Him around His lavish table of nourishing, sustaining, and delicious food and drink! (Revelation 19:9) The Hebrew word for table, shūlhān, suggests, not the furniture, but the rich fellowship shared by those seated around it.
He extends His invitation with arms wide open for us to meet Him at His table and take part in every aspect of His life. Likewise, He asks us to open the door for Him to come in and dine with us in every part of our lives. (Revelation 3:20) We welcome Him into all we do in our work, our play, and our rest. We look to Him in every choice and decision because He opens His hand and satisfies the desire of every living thing! (Psalm 145:16)
Even when we are in difficult situations or in the presence of our enemies, He prepares a table before us. (Psalm 23:5) His table is always set, inviting us to come.
As His bride, we delight in His presence…
“Like an apple tree among the trees of the forest,
So is my Beloved among the young men.
In His shade I took great delight and sat down,
And His fruit was sweet to my taste.
He has brought me to His banquet hall,
And His banner over me is love.”
(Song of songs 2:3-4)
