He will Draw, Reveal, Save, and Seal
4 ways to pray for those who don’t know Him

Dear friends,
The news that is mostly hidden from the public air waves is scary this morning. I shudder once again as the new realities threaten to crush my emotions and render me useless for this gorgeous, 63-degree day in central Ohio. But… then… the words of the Apostle John pierce the atmosphere –
“And the Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.” (John 1:5)
According to the underlying Hebrew meaning of these words, the Light of Yeshua (Jesus) shines into the darkness, confusion, deception, and horror of the effects of the evil one. But the darkness does not comprehend the Light.
The original word for comprehend has two meanings – 1) to comprehend, perceive, or recognize, or 2) to overpower. Since Hebrew words and concepts often have several meanings, we must look at the context of the passage to determine which meaning is being used. The context of John 1:1-14 tells us the meaning is to comprehend. Let’s take a look:
First, we read that Yeshua is God. He was in the beginning and created everything that has come into being. He is the Light of the world made flesh on this earth. However, “His own did not receive Him.” (John 1:11) Most of the Jewish people did not recognize Him as their long-awaited Messiah. They did not comprehend or recognize the Light and the truth of Who He was. The condition of their hearts either clarified the truth or blinded them from the truth.
Yeshua said, “Unless a man is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” (John 3:3) In other words, unless the Father gives new birth, a person cannot perceive, recognize, or comprehend the realm of the kingdom of light.
The Apostle Paul said, “A natural man does not accept the things of the Spirit of God for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them because they are spiritually appraised...” (1 Corinthians 2:14-15) The natural man cannot see the kingdom of God.
We need to realize the utter blindness that is in the world, and the veil that covers the hearts of people without God. We need to remember how we were blind and “dead in our trespasses and sins” (Ephesians 2:1-3) until He caused us to be born again (John 1:12-13). Then, we can pray powerfully in these 4 ways for those who are still in the darkness:
1. Father, draw __________(Name) to Yourself.
Yeshua said, “No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I will raise him up on the last day.” (John 6:44)
The Father must draw us to Yeshua.
2. Father, reveal Yourself to __________(Name).
Now when Jesus came into the district of Caesarea Philippi, He was asking His disciples, “Who do people say that the Son of Man is?”
And they said, “Some say John the Immerser; and others, Elijah; but still others, Jeremiah, or one of the prophets.”
Yeshua said to them, “But who do you say that I am?”
Simon Peter answered, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.”
And Jesus said to him, “Blessed are you, Simon Barjona, because flesh and blood did not reveal this to you, but My Father who is in heaven.” (Matthew 16:13-17)
The Father must reveal to us Who Yeshua is.
3. Father, save __________(Name).
“But when the kindness of God our Savior and His love for mankind appeared, He saved us, not on the basis of deeds which we have done in righteousness, but according to His mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit whom He poured out upon us richly through Yeshua Messiah our Savior, so that being justified by His grace we would be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.” (Titus 3:4-7)
After He draws us and reveals Himself to us, we receive His Gift of eternal life through Yeshua, and then The Father saves us!
“But whoever did receive Him and trusting in His name, to these He gave the right [power] to become children of God who were born not of a bloodline, nor of human desire, nor of man’s will, but of God.” (John 1:12-13)
4. Thank you, Father, for sealing __________(Name) !
“In Him, you also, after listening to the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation – and having also believed, you were sealed in Him with the Holy Spirit of promise who is given as a pledge of our inheritance with a view to the redemption of God’s own possession to the praise of His glory!” (Ephesians 1:13-14)
The Father seals us as His forever!
Father, You initiate Your love to us and others by drawing us to Yourself through Yeshua’s sacrifice on our behalf, and by revealing Yourself to us and asking us to receive You, and by saving us eternally! Thank you for sealing us in Your love until we see you face to face!

Love this!
God bless you Beth Ann! What a beautiful teaching from God's Word. May those we pray for (as God's children co-labor in Christ) be found in Him on that day. All glory belongs to God for saving a wretch like me! Through Yeshua by the gospel (power of God) the LORD has done it!!
