Redeemer
I know that my Redeemer lives

I created the original artwork for this Art Card with red and green ink in a Gocco screen printer. The Gocco uses flash bulbs to thermally imprint my original calligraphy onto the master screen...

My original image was black, pointed-pen calligraphy. This image (of my calligraphy) was then transferred to the printer much like a larger silkscreen printer. I made a print by pressing the ink-applied master screen against a sheet of 100-percent cotton rag paper placed on a sponge pad. I made several prints. Later, I scanned the image of the print and made these greeting cards.

The front of the card says – I know that my Redeemer lives!

The inside greeting is – May you know the depth of His love for you at Christmas and in the new year!

The back of the card includes:
For I know that my Redeemer lives and that He shall stand at the latter day upon the earth.
Job 19:25

Blessed be the Lord God of Israel for He has visited us and accomplished redemption for His people. Luke 1:68

These following three images show the original print from the Gocco. You can see the raised ink. The verse from Micah was not used for the Art Card, only for these original prints.

These are images of the card:

Welcome to Shale Fragments, a collection of writings and art for individual and group use!

Teaching God’s truth and the beauty of His Word is my greatest delight! My art card company, Flower Girl Greetings, was launched in 2012 with this purpose. In April 2020, ShaleFragments.com became the gathering place for the writings.

As I have studied the rich meanings of the original Greek and Hebrew languages of the Bible, I continue to see beautiful progressions and connections that compel me to organize and convey their life-changing beauty!
