Come unto Me
The Art Card Story

The original artwork for this Art Card was created by painting the letters onto heavy cotton paper with art masking fluid. This fluid repelled the vibrant powdered Ukrainian ink dyes that were sprinkled onto the paper and sprayed with water. The colors soaked underneath the masked letters because I left it out in the rain. I added the gold letters, “I will give you rest.”

The Come unto Me Art Card was created one day in October 1999 in my mother’s back yard… the same day as The trees clap Art Card from the Praise Collection and Through the waters from the Presence Collection.

The words on the back of the Art Card were said by Jesus and are from Matthew 11:28-30.

Come unto me is available in the Abide Collection and as a 4-Pack at Flower Girl Greetings. It is perfect to send for encouragement and sympathy.

Welcome to Shale Fragments, a collection of writings and art for individual and group use!

Teaching God’s truth and the beauty of His Word is my greatest delight! My art card company, Flower Girl Greetings, was launched in 2012 with this purpose. In April 2020, ShaleFragments.com became the gathering place for the writings.

As I have studied the rich meanings of the original Greek and Hebrew languages of the Bible, I continue to see beautiful progressions and connections that compel me to organize and convey their life-changing beauty!
