Our First Fruits
April 11, 2019

The Feast of First Fruits is celebrated on the Sunday that falls after Passover during The Feast of Unleavened Bread. It is a day of praise to the Lord for the early spring harvest and His reviving of the earth after the winter’s repose.

Yeshua (Jesus) the Messiah died and was buried in the earth on Passover. He rose from the dead on The Feast of First Fruits. We celebrate this Feast on April 21st this year on Resurrection Sunday!

Paul says in 1 Corinthians 15:20, 22, “Now Messiah Yeshua has been raised from the dead, the first fruits of those who are asleep...For as in Adam all die, so also in Messiah all will be made alive.”

“We have been buried with Him through immersion into death, so that as Messiah was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we too might walk in newness of life.” Romans 6:4

Yeshua is our First Fruits, our Risen Life, and our Promised Land. He is our Place of provision, quiet and rest!

Let the earth rejoice!  Psalm 97:1b

Welcome to Shale Fragments, a collection of writings and art for individual and group use!

Teaching God’s truth and the beauty of His Word is my greatest delight! My art card company, Flower Girl Greetings, was launched in 2012 with this purpose. In April 2020, ShaleFragments.com became the gathering place for the writings.

As I have studied the rich meanings of the original Greek and Hebrew languages of the Bible, I continue to see beautiful progressions and connections that compel me to organize and convey their life-changing beauty!
