I am Sealed

July – I am Sealed
Sealed is the Hebrew ’hātam and means kept secure.

After listening to the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and also having believed, you were sealed in Him with the Holy Spirit of promise who is given as a pledge guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of God’s own possession to the praise of His glory. Ephesians 1:13-14

The I am Sealed Art Card is found in the Who I am Collection at Flower Girl Greetings.com
The Who I Am Journal Collection was designed to encourage reflection on the Lord’s truth each month. Each Art Card includes watercolor art, brush lettering, memory verses, Hebrew letters, a devotional, space to write personal reflections year after year, and envelopes.

When we receive Jesus the Messiah, our Father God brings us into an eternal, intimate, covenant relationship with Himself by the Holy Spirit. He gives us names that describe our identity as those who have been born again into His family. They remain constant even though the clouds of our feelings, circumstances, weakness, grief, failure, and emotions may hide their reality. We have this hope as an anchor of our souls, a hope both sure and steadfast...(Hebrews 6:19)

The devotional on the back of the I am Sealed Art Card:

I am Sealed.

The chiseled letters on the front of the card signify the finality of our new birth ordained by the Ancient of Days. The Hebrew letters on the seal are Ruach ha-Kodesh, the Holy Spirit, Whose unbreakable seal has been placed over our lives.

The Holy Spirit is a seal, a pledge, an engagement ring, a covenantal promise, a down payment that guarantees the complete redemption that awaits us.

When we are born anew, the Holy Spirit gives us a knowing, an assurance that we belong to God. This knowing is a constant reminder that we are securely sealed in Him. 1 John 4:13 says, “We know that we abide in Him and He in us, because He has given us of His Spirit.”

Thank you, Lord, for enclosing me with Your secure seal and giving me Your comforting presence until that day when You will make all things new. (Revelation 21:5)

Welcome to Shale Fragments, a collection of writings and art for individual and group use!

Teaching God’s truth and the beauty of His Word is my greatest delight! My art card company, Flower Girl Greetings, was launched in 2012 with this purpose. In April 2020, ShaleFragments.com became the gathering place for the writings.

As I have studied the rich meanings of the original Greek and Hebrew languages of the Bible, I continue to see beautiful progressions and connections that compel me to organize and convey their life-changing beauty!
