Under His shadow
His presence
Our solution
Under His shadow is available as a 4-Pack at Flower Girl Greetings.com and in the Abide Collection.
He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High God
shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress,
my God in Whom I trust.
(Psalm 91:1-2)
Psalm 91:1-4 reads like this in the Complete Jewish Bible:
You who live in the shelter of Elyon
Who spend your nights in the shadow of Shaddai,
Who say to Adonai, “My refuge! My fortress! My God in Whom I trust!”
He will rescue you from the trap of the hunter and from the plague of calamities; he will cover you with his pinions, and under his wings you will find refuge; his truth is a shield and protection.
Hallelujah! Do you want to live in Shaddai’s shadow? I do! I remember from doing the study for the El Shaddai Art Card in the Hebrew Names of God Collection that Shaddai means Almighty, All-powerful, All-sufficient and Mountain of God. The Psalmist invites us to simply abide in Him! What is your need today? Abide!
The Under His Shadow Art Card story:
The original artwork for Under His shadow was created to encourage friends whose father had passed away. The bright, gold arc represents God’s sure covering when skies are threatening and our hearts are overwhelmed.
I cut the gold arc from tracing paper that I had painted with gold, metallic ink and flecks of other colors. Before I cut out the arc, I scrunched the paper up in a wad and then smoothed it out, so that the light would reflect off the different angles. You can see pieces of other torn paper. I filled pointed brushes with different colors of watercolor to paint the words.

Welcome to Shale Fragments, a collection of writings and art for individual and group use!
Teaching God’s truth and the beauty of His Word is my greatest delight! My art card company, Flower Girl Greetings, was launched in 2012 with this purpose. In April 2020, ShaleFragments.com became the gathering place for the writings.
As I have studied the rich meanings of the original Greek and Hebrew languages of the Bible, I continue to see beautiful progressions and connections that compel me to organize and convey their life-changing beauty!
